  1. Fight the Medical Reform tooth and nail.
    We don’t need more bureaucracy.
Concentrate on reforming the tort system, take back regulation of insurance from the states and the alike. Don’t create a new problem, clean up the ones we know. Also, limit bill size to 100 pages, maximum, no riders, do one thing at a time.

Senator Bennett. I would like to know what is being done about employee misclassification.
Employers that join these groups and make their employees “owners” instead of employees our driving the other employers out of business.
Can you tell me what is being done on this subject and when we might see some changes happen. This is killing our business and it almost make us want to sign up with one of these companies in order to compete in this market. We have been in business for 24 years and have never seen what we are seeing right now in the bidding process. Will the employers that are in this type of program now be able to stay in them? Will they be penalized? CSG and U & I say they are within the legal boundaries of the state.
I read in a KSL article that CSG estimates it will own 70 to 80 percent of the work force in 5 years. As a state are we going to allow this to continue?
