Senator:
The disconnect between our elected lawmakers and the public has never been more apparent than during the recent Healthcare takeover.

I am angered at lawmakers who view their constituents as obstacles to be overcome. As a member of Congress you and others were brought to Capitol Hill to be a "representative" voice of the people, to protect the Constitution from forces seeking to undermine and erode its influence. Why aren't members of Congress listening to their constituents?

Re-election time is when more members are supposed to be listening to what the people want to keep their seats intact. We want Obama's Healthcare Reform repealed! The People Still Have a Voice and it must be heard....

Fight the Medical Reform tooth and nail.
We don't need more bureaucracy.
Concentrate on reforming the tort system, take back regulation of insurance from the states and the alike. Don't create a new problem, clean up the ones we know. Also, limit bill size to 100 pages, maximum, no riders, do one thing at a time.

In March of this year Senator Bob Bennett was rated one of the ten most liberal Republicans in the Senate by Human Events based on the American Conservative Union Ratings for 2008. Why Bennett would pay money to convince voters he is Conservative is beyond me.

Bennett's bill, S.391 Healthy Americans Act:

(3) COVERAGE FOR FAMILY PLANNING-

(A) IN GENERAL- Except as provided in subparagraph (B), a health insurance issuer shall make available supplemental coverage for abortion services that may be purchased in conjunction with enrollment in a HAPI plan or an actuarially equivalent healthy American plan.

(B) RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EXCEPTION- Nothing in this paragraph shall be construed to require a health insurance issuer affiliated with a religious institution to provide the coverage described in subparagraph (A).
